got my bass earlier this year. i think it was in february that i decided on a whim i would learn how to play bass. all i had was 200 dollars and a dream…
fast forward to five months later, my bass is out of shape. it might be me because i don’t know how to strum properly but hearing other people’s basses make mine look like a fuckin’ idiot!!!! no offense to my cool and awesome looking bass…. i’m staring at it right now. its sitting in a corner
anyways im here to celebrate my bass and my newfound love for music. many cheers and pats on my back that i can actually play an instrument. it’s taught me to love music more since when i go to sit down and learn a song, i struggle… so much… however, it’s a good learning experience! i like the learning process and taking my time (something i need to work on!)
more on music (because i need to gush somewhere): i’ve been loving the strokes recently. trying to get more into rock but i can only go so far… also ive asked myself this question + the internet but is the strokes really rock? maybe it’s just me but i’m confused on what’s considered rock. i’ve thought of metallica or the rolling stones for real rock (?) but i’ve never listened to them hahaha. either way, i like what i’m listening to so far!
